An Inside Look at Megan and Aaron’s Wedding Reception

As much as we love getting to share our styled shoots with you, we really love giving you a look at the events we host at our historic venue. Like our styled shoots, we get the opportunity to partner with other vendors and put on an incredible event for our couples. The celebration of Megan and Aaron was no exception to this! After their original ceremony at a Catholic church, everyone headed over to our venue for the celebration and photos as well.

With an urban and bohemian theme, our venue provided them with the perfect mixture of the two.  We want to give you the inside look to this amazing celebration of love and life.

The Couple

Megan and Aaron looked incredible in their outfits and overall look that they decided on. Megan wore a beautiful gown from Destiny’s Bride and had the most beautiful headpiece that matched her bouquet in the best way possible! Her bridesmaids wore light pink dresses with similar bouquets. Aaron wore a light gray suit which went with the urban look extremely well.

The Special Touch

Our favorite part of this wedding is sure to touch your hearts. Everyone loves a good proposal story but these two really tied theirs together. During a trip to Disneyland, Aaron had the idea of proposing. While getting their picture drawn by a caricature artist, Megan had no idea what the picture was going to look like. Upon revealing the art, is showed Aaron down on one knee instead of the two sitting in chairs like they typically look. Megan turned around to a proposal that caught her off guard. Coming full circle to their wedding, the couple booked a caricature artist to work their wedding as well. Guests could get themselves drawn to remember the special evening of love. Megan and Aaron got another caricature drawn of them at their wedding. We are in love with this special touch that was completely different from some weddings and receptions we have seen.

It takes a village to put on a successful wedding and this wouldn’t have been possible without these amazing vendors…
