For this vendor highlight, Kristin tells us a little about herself and her wonderful company!
Tell us a little bit about your company.
Stellar Event Management is a wedding and event planning company in Arizona. We are a boutique event planning firm that offers custom packages for each client’s event needs. The team of five professionals have a unique combination of relevant experience in the field to make your event planning process calm, stress-free and exceptional.
How did you get started?
I had been running venues and an off-premise catering company. Then I realized that I missed the creative component that tied into events. I wanted to be a part of the tactile experience in picking florals, linens, mixing textures and colors to create something extraordinary for each client. My Type-A personality and secret need to control the flow of things makes me a natural planner. And, I like cake and there’s no shortage of cake at a wedding!!
What have been some of your favorite events to be a part of?
We are predominantly wedding focused because there is no greater feeling than making someone’s dreams come true on such an important day. Over the years we have had the fortune to plan milestone birthdays for a couple of celebrities. And to design and plan fundraising events for several non-profit groups whose missions are near and dear to us.
What do you enjoy the most about your work?
Hands down, we enjoy the relationship and bond that we build with our clients. We continue to stalk them on social media long after their weddings (many are still true friends to this day) as we love watching their families grow. Our rush comes from that gasp the couple emits when they see their ceremony and reception site, set and ready to welcome them and their guests. Knowing that we can take their vision and produce gasp worthy results is why we do this each and every day.
What inspires you?
We are inspired by the excitement of others – our clients, our friends, our families…. No matter their role in our lives, their enthusiasm fuels us. We are a team of girl bosses who love to have fun while making a difference in the lives of those we touch – personally and professionally. You may occasionally pop into the office and find us in full on dance mode. Don’t be shocked if we tell you to join in. It gets our creative juices flowing!
Why would you recommend your clients to Warehouse 215?
Warehouse 215 is a unique, historic space that offers a blank canvas. Allowing us to transform the space into any environment the client desires. The natural light, dichotomy between the old brick and smooth plaster walls, truss ceilings and enhanced lighting are elements we love to work with. After 9 years of producing countless events in this building. We can honestly say that each and every one has been different. As a bonus – the staff is pretty amazing to work with, too!!!
